Following western anatomical and neurophysiology guidelines, Myofascial Dry Needling (MDN) involves administering thin filament needles into Trigger Points (chronic knots), within muscles and connective tissue, that are associated with many musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. In turn providing pain relief, decreased stiffness and improving flexibility and range of motion.

Combining massage and dry needling in one treatment offers numerous benefits for clients seeking relief from muscle tension and pain. Massage helps to relax tight muscles, improve circulation, and enhance overall relaxation, while dry needling targets trigger points to release knots and alleviate pain directly at the source. This integrated approach can promote greater muscle flexibility, improve range of motion, and expedite recovery from injuries. By addressing both the surface and deeper layers of muscle tissue, clients experience a more comprehensive treatment that not only relieves discomfort but also aids in restoring optimal function and well-being.

Swedish massage is one of the most popular forms of massage therapy which targets the uppermost layer of muscles and has many benefits; such as, activating the parasympathetic nervous system to slow the body’s systems down into a 'rest and digest' state to alleviate anxiety and stress.
We use Jojoba oil as it’s great for all skin types, even those with sensitivities. It soothes and moisturises the skin, while also having anti-inflammatory properties.

“The sense of touch is the massage therapist’s main avenue used to affect another being and is the body’s main method of gathering information about itself. In contrast, an artist uses the sense of vision, and a musician uses the sense of hearing to communicate with others. Touching can affect us physiologically, cognitively, psychologically and emotionally.”
— Susan Salvo
MEET THE THERAPIST
Hey there, my name is Jet; a certified Manual Therapist and accredited member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) with over 7 years of industry experience in allied health. If I had to choose one reason why I do what I do, it’d be alleviating the suffering of such a diverse range of people, on a daily basis, and watching my patients regain and maintain a quality of life that allows them to live, work and play at their full potential. On their own, manual therapies are a highly beneficial tool for aiding the body's natural healing processes. However, utilized with movement and stretching practices, a regular sleep regime, and of course a healthy diet; you can unlock the true potential of your body. Which is the journey I would love to take with you.🙏
